One of the ways to make money online is through taking paid surveys. There are some free sites out there, but they seldom have real surveys to take. Then there are some membership sites that offer surveys. The member sites are likely to have more quality surveys available to their members. They can pre-screen their membership so they are probably more trusted by the companies that are willing to pay for your opinion.
